So, I watched a few episodes a few years back, thought it was cheesy, heard bad things about it and never watched it. But then N and I were watching some bad TV a view nights when things at work/school were stressful and we needed a brain break and thought... well we might as well watch cheesy TV with lesbians in it.

So we watched season 1, and are.. hooked, and would love to watch other seasons, so I was wondering if anyone out there in LJ land has different seasons we could borrow?

straight from the garden is so delectable!

I made a salad with fresh veggies from our garden today. It was ohh so tasty. Supermarket chilled food can't compare. Especially to fresh carrots and cucumbers! I've also been making lots of pesto lately... green green greens...

This has been an amazing summer. I went home to Nova Scotia and had such a lovely time. We even got to travel around PEI... red red red.. :)
For your viewing pleasure here is a pic of the Hopewell rocks in the Bay of Fundy

I'm so excited about the Dyke march and variety show on saturday (5:30 at Mcnabb center after the Dyke March)! We've created a fab new cuntettes number with SUCH cute outfits!!! :) I'm also excited to see lots of dyke drag. There is never enough at pride. I especially love drag when I get to be a slutty back up grrrl hehehe..

Subject:From snow to sunshine...
Security:Public

I was up in Northern Ontario this past weekend helping N's Mom move into her new store. While we were moving it snowed! Yesterday and today are nice sunny days, and everyone seems a bit happier! This week has been great fun, I'm told I always post when I'm venting so I decided to post about a happy week ;)

Saw the Bettie Paige film at the Bytown. It was good, super funny to see her posing. The actress was super cute, but I didn't like how by the end they made her look flaky. She was super smart, sexy and of course a bit innocent, but sexiness/cuteness does not equal flaky!

Also went to see QUIDAM by Cirque du soleil. AMAZING. I watched Cirque at home all the time as a kid on CBC. N took me for my B'Day in montreal last year, and then this year in O Town. Of course my favorite is watching the women swing and fall through the air, or watching super strong gals lift people up. Ahh the female body, sooo beautiful!

I went to the dentist yesterday (I have a HUGE phobia of the dentist) but it wasn't so bad, my dentist "The Gentle Dentist" is sweet. He even pats my forehead to calm me down. It still creeps me out all the chemicals they put in my mouth for a filling. Here I am using organic, and all natural products, and then my mouth is filled with toxic junk. yuck

Today is Friday, so N and I are going cosmic bowling in sexy outfits with blu_velvet_ and mr_antz_ Fun Fun Fun :)

I'm excited to be outside putting in the garden this weekend and going to riot_tori's house warming and Certain Sort.

Wow I completed a happy entry.

Ohhh, AND Ferron will be playing at the Ottawa Folk festival! ahhhhhhh that will be so awesome.

It actually makes me hopeful. The majority of people who voted for the "conservatives"just wanted change, they aren't really for the party. They majority of people were also against a lot of the bad Conservative platforms.
Hopefully the "conservatives" listen to who voted for them and what they want (stronger health care etc...) and don't get carried away with their backwards values.

I'm trying to organize my trip to Toronto today for work, and trying to figure how to get to the session is so hard because it's such a huge city! arrgghhhh.....

Anyways, The conference was an amazing success this weekend, and the bigest thing on my mind lately is being scared that the Alliance (hiding behind the conservative name) will be our government!

bath time for dildos today... many color shapes and sizes, going for a dip together in sudsy soapy squishy wonderfulness....
then walking through the market square building I see people stressed out, screaming at cashiers who barely make minimum wage..all for what, a danish discrepancy?
snaking on sushi I think about last spring, my change of situation, missing home, missing the smell of the acadian forest, missing those days when I put on my work clothes and got my hands dirty with the kind of earth you don't worry about, because it's the real organic kind, not the ashy dead, disease ridden dirt of people....
realizing that everything that was so new not so long ago, is not so anymore..

I'm not romancing nature, in this "I'm trying to find myself", in the other, the other which is nature, or other cultures, or somewhere not here. Processing, thinking, all while I talk eat live and dream sex, sex toys, acts, fantasies, and other people's shit and happiness. and all while my coworker repeatedly bangs her ginormous breasts against the back of my head :)

maybe I'm just here wondering why people are doing all this craziness in their lives, worrying, walking, fucking..

then on course pretty girls walk in the store and everything is ok....

saturday is the mass sex toy day of Ottawa, so many people come here and get snazy toys, I feel like a dildo machine, dispensing them left and right.....

so E and I have great team here at work....
I'm the brave spider rescuer, and she is the sexy toilet plumer...
We are both all whored up to teach a class about stripping, showing off, and talking hot!

But after our massive toilet explosion I'm having a hard time feeling titilating....

I also got to walk out in the sunshine with my gf while eating baguette on my break today... it's so nice to get outside in the sun...

ok, time to think about dancing around sexy with a whole group of womyn... sometime this job really has it's perks!

I'm feeling very good. It's surprising considering I was up quite late playing poker, and then woke up early for a hair appointment.

Today walking outside the door to meet the bus it was sunny, the air was crisp cold.

I've just been filled with appreciation for the depth of beauty in women. It started with a glance at the girl selling scarfs in the rideau center setting up her table for her day. Unwrapping her coat, she was ever so gentle.

Then it just continued all day...
sigh...

AND!!!!! I got my hair cut today, which I'm super happy about because I love that all the weight is gone and it'll be easier to take care of...

mostly because I get to know all these cool new things about my friends...

Here are Ten things I've done that you probably haven't.

1. Hiked to the top of a mountain and drank champagne
2. Rode a horse bareback in Cuba
3. Had to stop my boy rabbit from mating with the other rabbits during a 4-H showmanship competition
4. Snow shooed extensivley
5. Dug multiple pits into the ground to analyze the amount of organic carbon in various soils.
6. Gave a presentation on thermohaline circulation
7. Ran my own face painting business
8. Returned a frog to a river and saved a pigeon from drowning all at once.
9. Used a hair dryer to warm up a dying calf on my kitchen floor
10. Programed a weather station

If you have done any of these, tell me, and I'll ask someone how to strike it out, then strike it out, and write a new one.

S, J and I decided that we would have a random 3 step process.....

1) Stop rape
2) Help people quit smoking
3) give everyone sex toys!

the world would be a far far better place!

p.s. I might also try to switch everything to renewable energy....(but that's my secret plan)

ahhh.. so I had a wonderful day, with tasty cookies from my boss, and lots of plans surrounding bumm wiggling, and getting other womyn to wiggle their bumms!
Then had crazy cramps before dance class, and almost didn't go.
However I'm so glad I did!
I love propelling myself through space, pushing my body to the limit, literally whilst spinning. It's great to feel challenged again.
